Lot of Apps start to appear in ATK?

I have had ATK (advanced task killer) and Android Booster since I got my phone around a month ago.

Here in the last couple of days alot of apps that I haven't even opened are starting to show up in ATK. Some are stock apps and some are from the marketplace. It is really annoying, I am a little anal about apps running when I am not using them.

Before it use to only show apps that I opened.

Anyone have this happen or know why all these apps are showing up/running?

Some apps are set to auto start if they are closed. Some music players do that, as maps and few other.
The only solution I found was to root and freeze the apps with Titanium Backup app. They say not to worry on Android phones, they don't use cpu power. I'm not sure I can trust that 100%, if the app is running is using something.

You can check battery usage details. Unless it's lying, the apps on the Inspire are not what you need to worry about using CPU/battery.

You don't need to use any task killer. It causes more problems than its worth.
