Lots of bugs in recent update?

I got the 2.29.405.5 update for my European Desire about a week ago and I think that's where the problems started. Some apps (seemingly random) simply will not install or update and the haptic feedback while typing randomly stops working. I'm sure there are other less noticeable things as well. Anyone else with a CDMA Desire with similar problems? I've done a factory data reset three times now, no change.

A factory data reset won't work in this case. What you need to do is a "complete reset of the device". That should wipe the phone clean of most, if not all unknown issues.

Did a hard reset earlier today, no change. >_< I've installed loads of apps, like emulators, Skype, ES File Explorer and others. But MoveToSD, Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and a couple of others are just unsuccessful, saying 18 - Unknown Reason.

Just thought I'd hand you guys the solution to this problem for future reference. It seems the problem is related to apps that install to SD by default and have done so before.

The solution is to move all apps to phone memory, connect your phone to a computer and remove the .android_secure folder. Apps will now install normally.
