Love or Hate your Galaxy Note 3?

Even though it wasn't my first Android, it was my first in many years, I was using the iPhone for 4 years or so before buying the Note 3. I had for 6 weeks and sold it. The phone is awesome! Great features and visually it was very appealing but I kinda felt indifferent about the quality/feel of the phone, I guess I like the feel metal unibody/casing.

The OS felt unrefined, it even lag when I'd put my password in:mad: I know right, first world problems. My major issue was couldn't sync with my Go Daddy webmail account through the stock webmail client:mad: , I downloaded Go Daddy app and it work for a while but later it started giving me crucial issues, for some odd reason I couldn't send attachments with the app:mad:. Walk in to Verizon and they couldn't troubleshot it...I sent an email and contacted go daddy customer support, USELESS! Needless to say I was pretty upset to have a powerful device and I couldn't send a simple attachment. It very well could of been a go daddy issue but I really had no choice but to use that email because of job/hippa regulations. Furthermore I never had and issue before using iOS.

I eventually just had my laptop with me and used my phone as hotspot to go around the issue, really inconvenient because Im sending like up to 7 emails with attachments a day and I am a road warrior driving from city to city. Other than that the phone was great lol... I wanted to like it but I eventually sold it and went back to my old iPhone. Got bored again and picked up the HTC One M8, I have to say I extremely happy with this phone:D. Love the feel of it, OS is refined and not as "buggy" as my experience with the Note3. I may go to Note 4 and give it another chance but only if it comes out with a metal casing.

I simply adore this phone. I had a Nokia C5-03 before buying this phone 2 months ago and I really can't explain how I felt when I switched from the nokia to the Note3. <3 <3. Amazing Screen, Amazing Camera, Amazing Performane and Amazing Device :) :)

That was a very attractive phone. I used to love those type of Nokia's. I had the Nokia 6300 classic. It was perhaps the sexiest phone I have ever owned until my I got my iPhone 5S.

I had a 6300 before the C5-03. However, it was a fake/chinese one >.< The best thing about these Nokia phones apart from the classic design was their durability 😃😃 My Nokia C5-03 fell on the floor countless times with very few scratches only. However it was dead after dropping it in water. That's why I changed it anyway and I'm happy I did :) :)

Having had every iphone but the c, it took some getting used to. About 3 days. Now I don't know how I ever lived with a normal sized phone. Android is different...but in no way bad. If anything, this phone has too many options. I love it.

I'm coming up to a month with my Note 3 (from an iPhone 4) and I'm generally enjoying the experience so far. I haven't used all the S pen features in any substantive way yet, but perhaps as I settle in...

If I have an issue with the device, its a problem common to many devices (Android and iOS) and that is I do wish that they were more circumspect as to the apps (their own and 3rd Party) that they embed in the OS, allowing users to instead choose to install them thru their Store.
For example, while I can certainly see the benefit of something like Action Memo to capitalize on the usefulness of the S Pen, I am considerably less convinced that I needed SCalendar to be embedded, when a perfectly fine Calendar app exists within Android. Similarly, the various music, video, photos apps - nothing wrong with them, you understand, I just wish I could be the one to choose to install them - or another alternative. Useless flotsam on my device, eating up valuable storage. Oh sure, I can 'Disable' (read, 'Hide') them, but they are never truly deleted and freeing up space for a user to use as they wish.

It harkens back to the bad old days of PCs, where lots of crapware were preinstalled on them - but at least you could uninstall them - and without having to go all 'admin' on the thing and access root. Its sloppy and bad business.

If Samsung's apps are truly worth it, users will find them in the Samsung Store and install them on their own. If they aren't worth it, there is no way Samsung should be foisting them on their users unbidden.

My wife and I have had our Note 3's for about one week. We both love 'em so far. The huge screen and great battery life major selling points. I haven't had a chance to use the S-pen too much yet.

There really aren't too many negatives with the Note 3. I wish the camera software was a little bit better, but other than that, I didn't have any issues with the Note 3. If I didn't have such an ordeal with the iMessage thing I would still have one today.

Sent from my iPad Air. Simply better than the rest.

don't you guys feel like the battery is going down faster after the upgrade?? or is it just me???? mine goes down so fast even when I'm not even using it and it gets hot. Anyone know what might the problem is?

I like both my S5 and Note 3 but if I could only have one it would be the Note 3.

Some have mentioned doing a factory reset helped and made the battery life better.
I haven't noticed because I have two batteries so it really doesn't bother me.
