Loving the phone, but one nagging notification when it starts

So I've got all my favorite apps set up and have disabled almost all the random EMUI notifications. This phone is an unbelievable deal, especially at the incredible Black Friday/Cyber Monday prices. But I can't figure out how to turn off the notification that tells me that the phone is disconnected from the charger every time it starts up. What is that about? How anyone could find that useful is beyond me. Anyone find a way to turn it off?

This nag seems to have appeared after the latest firmware update.

I'd also like to disable this.
So far I don't see any option to stop it.
Still on emui 4.1 here running under Nova.

Mine do the same thing. I just tap it and move on.

Hmm, do you remember when you got that update? I have never seen this before.

Can't remember when the update showed up.
No biggee I guess...it is an extra tap after waking with the FPS.

Hmm odd. I think maybe this update didn't hit me yet.

The dialogue shows up when connecting the charger also.

Maybe this was just a leftover from some system feature.
EMUI does enjoy forcing attention to power intensive apps.

I run 8 or 9 juice gobbling apps in the background.
Maybe that's why my device deems it necessary to warn me.

Heck I dunno...

You're right, it does.

Interesting that it does that though. I either get the fast charging notification or nothing (if not fast charging, lol). I have had to unplug sometimes while charging and nothing has popped up ever. So strange. I think it has to be an update or something because this was recently shared here.
