Low sound on you tube playback

This device is 4.5 years old.

Putting volume up to full blast I cannot hear very well the sound of You Tube videos.

What can I do to bring back full volume sound? Is it the battery? Or is there something stopping full volume on the sound?

Every video played has a low volume but sound is turned to full blast. I cannot understand what is happening. Can you help me?

Does the same thing happen if you use the YouTube website on your browser?

You can try resetting the app by clearing Data/cache and force stop

You can also try uninstalling all updates to YouTube, then re-update.
