Low temp OC kernels

I'm currently running Chevy's low voltage 5-step 1GHz kernel, but my Droid's ramping to 44C with general use which seems a little hot. I was wondering if anyone could possibly suggest another kernel that has demonstrated good temp results.

I only OC to 800MHz, so that option in a 5 step with a low at 125MHz would be ideal. Thanks!

I recommend bekit's 1000 MHz 5 slot kernal. You can. Get it through the app Rom Manager or at cyanogen's forum. I'm consistent at the mid 30's with average use.

Thanks for the response. I found bekit's kernel on RM, but it says it's only for the Cyanogen ROM. I'm running stock 2.1 (rooted, obviously).

Will it still work?

Okay. Despite P3's kernels being seven slots and wanting five, I'm trying the .8 one. It's the first time I've used the ROM Manager... but seems to be working.
