Ok I feel like this may be a stupid question but I'm gonna ask anyway.
Do the OTA updates go to phones in a particular order? Like, by area, or activation date, or is it just completely random?

Hey all, while it didnt work for me, thought I would offer it out to you all too.
Try opening your dialer and entering *#*#2432546#*#*
This will manually force your phone to check for a system update. After doing it you will get a notification saying checkin succeeded. As I understand it, if it hasnt been pushed to your device yet it wont magically get the update, but who knows. If you are ready to receive it and just havent gotten the notice yet it may work for someone.

Thanks! Gave it a try but nothing. In the meantime I've been a little worried that I may have borked my radio settings when I lost the settings and restored by nandroid. No signal again, can't connect - not entirely surprising as the phone isn't active. A piece of good news - I finally got my MSL from CDMAWS so I might see if I can get it alive again.

It is strange that the update hasn't appeared yet... I was able to launch Sprint Zone and was indeed notified that an update will eventually be downloaded and installed. I doubt I will receive the update, seeing as my phone is not active, but it was certainly reassuring seeing a Sprint notification. Now, I'm not feeling so reassured. Perhaps Sprint has yet again eaten a big bucket of fail on this one. Has anyone contacted Sprint Customer Service? Maybe we can get an HTML link outta someone there?
My Sprint Zone notification says. “Over the next few weeks, the software will automatically be downloaded to your device.” I think there’s no point in sitting on the edge of our seats over this...
Perhaps they’re going to try it on just a few of us, get opinions, try a few more, more opinions, make sure it’s right before they let it loose. That’s what they should do, considering how poorly it went last time.
Tried asking LG, they said hardware is LG and software is up to carrier. Unfortunately same answer when I asked about getting the missing LG source/objects to complete a build for the phone. On one hand I don't think that's 100% correct but doubt I'll get further with 1st level support.
Well hopefully once someone gets their hands on it, out chefs can have out a good stock base before everyone even receiving it. Lol.

Ehh i could see that but i think they are going to release it to certain parts everyday until every phone has it over time. Wouldnt be shocked if they did either 
Well I was on ZVH running HyrdroROM and once the news dropped I "downgraded" to back to ZVD. Since it seems it might take a while to get ZVJ I might as well try out thekraven's CM9 based ROM and see how ICS runs on our little bad boys.

i am in desperate need of help!
some time ago i had my phone rooted and was using your mom rom without a hitch, last night my phone froze so i tried rebooting it only to have it stuck on the android screen.
i tried to go into recovery mode and restore from an earlier time but that sent me back to gROM so i flashed from my SD card and have your mom rom again, BUT now it tells me i have low internal space AND then my phone has NO SERVICE.
is it because of this update?!
im on zvh, how can i go all the way back to stock?

Completely wrong thread. The how to return to stock has been answered in the stickies. Be sure you are clearing your data and caches.
