LTE 10.1 will not connect to WIFI

I've been connected to the same wifi router for almost 6 mnths. suddenly GTab will no longer connect. i know its not the router since all other devices hold a constant connection. The wifi status on the tab sits on 'Authenticating / Scanning' and my network status says 'Disabled.

So far I have resetted router, forgotten and restored saved network on tab and completed master reset.... still a NO GO!!!!

What am I missing? please help, vzw support is clueless, they suggested master reset after I said it's already been done. any advice will be greatly appreciated
