installed LTE Discovery after it was recommended here. let it do its thing and in the process I lost all wifi signal. it was four bars to start and when the app was done I had no bars. apps that recognize wifi signals don't even see mine.

any ideas how I can restore what it mucked up? aside from FR? I have cleared cache multiple times externally. the app is gone but its effects remain. I updated my prn and profile but no help.

I am so mad about this app. everything wifi was great and it toasted it immediately.

terrific. thanks to LTE Discovery I now have 1x. I was fine until I installed this stupid app. had 3G which is what I can expect here.

save yourself some grief and don't use it. have emailed the dev but not hoping for much.

I'm not familiar with this app, but I have my radios get "stuck" like this before. Switching in and out of airplane mode or rebooting the phone usually fixes it right away.

I've never had any issues with this app. Just tried it right now and everything is fine. Did you try uninstalling it to see if it restores your speeds?

I did. even reinstalled it and then uninstalled it. whatever it did, I just did something that fixed it while playing with other settings. no idea what, but just now the entire five bars were restored just before I saw this message.

Not For me never needed it and never will. My Phone has no issues, i just don't see myself using it and i won't lol.

Do you have WI-FI Calling turned on? This works for me really well at home with poor signal.

I use Signal Check Pro for my signal information.
