Mac PTP not seeing SD card...usual behavior?

Just noticed that when attached the G4 to my Mac to import via photos(via PTP), it can only see internal memory, not SD.
Usually use one drive to upload, but was thinking of doing this manually via PTP instead.

I have the same problem. And I can't see all the photos on the camera either. I have like 30 photos on the internal storage and I only see 6.
