Hoping someone here knows a bit about this app. I downloaded it today as a replacement for the now-unusable Llama app...to automate the turning on/off of my S9’s WiFi when enter/leave my home.

I created a macro using cell towers as the trigger. To do this, I had to turn on my device’s location function, and then the app scanned for the cell tower id’s around my home. The macro seemed to set up fine once this process was complete.

I usually keep location toggled off. I only use it when using Waze, otherwise it’s off. The old Llama app would identify cell tower id’s and toggle WiFi on/off WITHOUT having to turn on location services. It worked off of the cell radio in the phone...periodically scanning the surrounding cell tower id’s. My question is this - while I had to turn on location services to set the macro up in macrodroid so that it accumulated the cell tower id’s, do I have to keep location services on for the macro to work? Or was location services necessary only for the initial set up, and now the macro will work off of the cell radio without having to use location services going forward?
