Dears,
just got a dual sim S9+ (SM-G965F/DS).
Magisk v16 correctly completes setup via TWRP, but it's then impossible to boot system, it goes bootloop on Galaxy logo.

Any suggestions?

Tks a lot.

Did you cleared cache and dalvik cache?

You need to Wipe Cache before and after flashing Magisk (if via TWRP).

By the way, I am not using Magisk to root my S9. SuperSU is good for me. If you want to root via SuperSU Package, try out this guide: https://droidfeats.com/how-to-root-galaxy-s9-plus/

Remember to Wipe Cache on flashing SuperSU Zip too! But Nemesis Kernel is required here!

What are the advantages still for obtaining root access? I haven't done it in years.
