Restricting the background processes is probably your problem. Android is designed in such a way that having things ready to roll on the back burner is actually more efficient than not. Try unrestricting the background processes. Let me know if that helps

Still getting high battery loss. What options are people using on V6? The R2 instructions said option 10. I'm not sure what to set the 3 oom values to in option 10. I just put in option 13 witch is the bulletproof setting. I like the look and performance of this rom but the battery life is killing me.

I don't want to point you in the wrong direction when it comes to running a script, so double check with the v6 thread, but I ran option 8 and things were good. I think it was option 8(whichever was the option for like 768mg ram). Right now I'm using vincoms superlite with lite gapps. Figured I'd give it a whirl and its really snappy, with zero maintenance. I like the direction he's going with it....a byor(build your own ROM). I'd check out the v6 thread and if you are not comfortable simply do a clean install. You want to make sure with v6 you run as root and not at boot(99% sure). SuperLite is only like 98mb and I'm not into social networking or any real frills so for me its great. All you need are a few adjustments and you will be fine. Just read that thread and all will be good. There's plenty of people who are willing to help without trashing you so that's definitely a good thing.

Rom and V6 setting seems to be settling in and getting better battery life. Still not the best but definitely getting better. Hopefully in a few days I'll be getting the results others are getting. Thanks for all the advise and help GOV.

My pleasure. There's plenty of times when I need it too.
Did you end up making changes with the supercharger or anything else? Others may have the same questions you had? And what is your battery life

I'm running the #8 option on V6. That is really the only thing I've done. Battery life is getting better however, I'd still like to see improvement. Thinking about flashing the UCLF6 Radio and see if that helps. I will wait a couple of days just to see what happens with what I have now. The screenshot is what I got today. Screen on time is only about 1 hour. Not a whole lot of use in general. Thanks again for all the advice.

You could uv a little bit too. Good idea to let it settle in for a while. 3 days and you should have a good grip on it.

What do you mean uv? And how do I do it?

Go into settings, performance, and there should be some cpu options where you can overclock/undervolt. If you're on instigators kernel with majick-wizz those options will be available

Thanks for the tip. Do you have any recommendations for min and max cpu settings? I did flash the UCLF6 Radio and my battery life is steadily improving. Thanks again.
