Although I will say that I did not lose anything buying and selling my pixels second hand.

I was lucky on the pixel 2xl 600.00 new and the pixel 4xl 550.00 new but the pixel 3xl got me 1000.00

I mean if you want deals on Pixels it's well known you don't buy at launch. Wait for price to go down. Applies to most phones but majority believe Pixels are not worth the full price (I don't) and if that's you then definitely makes sense to wait few months since the price goes down significantly or you can get deals or used ones on swappa etc. Or even till black Friday a few weeks after release to get some $100 or $200 off.

For me it's more like I want it asap and no patience waiting for price to drop down

Half the problem with the Pixels is that outside the US the best features don't work. No call screening, no duplex and so on. These features came in with the Pixel 2 but they still are unavailable to people outside the USA.

And not only that, in most countries it's very difficult to buy a Pixel unless you import it with the hassles and risks involved.

Funnily enough last week was the first ever reduction in price for the pixel here.
7 months after release.

£929 down to £759.

Still not sure it's worth that tbh.
