Making my Note 8 like a Note 7

I loved my Note 7 so much I'm trying to slowly turn my Note 8 into my old Note 7. I got the same screen protector and case as I did on the 7. Today I download the same notification sound I had and I even have action memo back. I'm going to look for some more notification sounds I had on the 7 heck maybe the same ringtones. Point is I really miss my old Note 7. I know that the 8 is just as good if not better than the 7 was but this way it still feels like I have the 7 in the body of the Note 8. I should try if I can use my old s pen and see if that works on here. Has anyone tried that yet?

I tried that..it works and fits just like the one from my Note 8. Now I have 3 s pens for my Note 8.

Awesome I almost kept both of my note7 spen but only kept 1. So I have the blue coral and midnight black. Lol.

Yes I do. If you're using the Android central app and look under Samsung Android phones and then Note 8 they still have a picture of the Note 7 for the Note 8.

I ordered a skin that kind of looks coral blue. It will cover front bezels too. I can't recomend the company though because getting them to ship it was a pain in the behind.

I've got 4 different color layouts of this in Photoshop from when the Note 7 first came out that I was messing around with for wallpaper - this one, a blue one, a grey one and one with a couple of pens in each of the three colors! I was a Note 7 junkie too!

It’s the same pen.

The nib size is the same. The only difference is color and the chrome clicker.

I've had the same notification for 5 years and the same ring for just about 10 years. And have had a pretty constant but evolving 3rd party launcher homesceeen set up on every phone since the first Android in 2010/11

So every new phone feels familiar to me.

My Note7 had a Spigen Neo Hybrid.


I liked that case a lot but sadly, I couldn’t find the newer version made for the Note8, so after deciding between an Incipio case and trying a few Spigen ones (including a seriously tight-fitting Crystal Armor that was incredibly difficult to remove), I eventually settled on the Rugged Armor.

It may not offer the same amount of protection as the Rugged or Slim Armor, but man, it’s grippy, offers excellent tactile feedback for the buttons (it even has an aggressive texture for the Bixby key which is neato) and is easy to remove if I want to wipe it down outside the phone. And while it’s not as protective, it’s better than nothing at all. I am quite the fan of Spigen cases, though.

Can you get the old GraceUX skin back? Looked way better than the new and ugly S8 skin. Seems like everyone still liked the front FPS of the Note 7. I agree I think the Note 7 looked nicer.
