Making use of quad DAC

Some didn't like them... especially bass heads and I certainly wouldn't pay 150 for them but they are pretty good. I normally prefer my over the ear phones but sometimes they are just too big.

Yes I love over the ear headphones but I didn't want to draw so much attention to myself at work with them on so I got the ones in the link I provided. Much more discreet and doesn't give the "this guy doesn't want to be talked to" vibe.lol They're small and unlike a lot of ear buds I've tried, they don't fall out of my ears.

I do notice without it it sounds more tinny. So I am impressed.

To use the DAC at it's fullest potential, listen to MP3s with a 320kbps quality, OR if you can in a FLAC format. The quality of the file matters too. YouTube is starting to output very high quality videos now, with this whole ASMR trend going on, it depends on the uploaded quality of the file.

All you need is a 3.5mm splitter and the adapter in the link above to force high impedance mode. You have to keep the splitter in but you can enjoy seriously loud music on any auxillary input. I use it in my car and it makes a huge difference. I also have a cheap pair of monk earbuds that are high impedance and I use them the same way as the adapter. This is the same technique used on the v20 and v30 just Google those models and force high gain or high gain + high impedance.
