I rooted my thrive with gingerbreak 2 days ago, added cmw, and es explorer, and i do have the superuser icon. Everything seems to be sunshine and lolipops, but tonite my avg antivirus app alerted me that gingerbreak is malicious! My norton app is happy so far. Is this normal or should i be worried? Thanx in advance for helpin a noob.

yes gingerbreak is malicious. it alters your, lack for better words, hard drive and or software from stock.
in this case though you are fully aware of what the program is doing, so not really malicious.
you can delete it now if you want. unless you want to unroot later.

this is what i thought, but i just wanted to be sure i wasnt going to have any problems. i appreciate your reply.
