Quick question and I apologize if it sounds stupid -

I am rooted running the thunderstick 3d rom. I flashed the imoseyen kernel. Is there anything I can do to manage the speeds or is this automatic? It would be great to over clock when in use and then under when the screen is off. Thanks.

Imoseyon usually includes scripts for overclocking/undervolting/etc on his kernels, should be instructions on the post where you downloaded it from.

If you prefer to not do it via terminal, then you can use an app like SetCPU or CPU Master, etc. to change the default frequencies. Some ROMs (I'm not familiar with yours), even come with CPU settings built in.

Imo says to avoid setcpu for his as it might change the voltages etc but it works great for most others.

No, set CPU will not change the voltage set by the speed tweak script. it can change the governor and the min and max speeds.

Again, I'm not using his kernel, so I could be wrong, but I believe he only suggests not using SetCPU *if* you're using a speedtweak script option...

Yeah. It says something like only use SetCPU to choose the governor but not to set min or max CPU state. But that's IF you must use set CPU. he says in his post something like he doesn't reccomend it. Also there is no reason to use it with that kernal as the script does everything for you.

You should use the script in terminal if you use that kernel is the jist of it. I started getting funky anomalies with his kernal though so I dumped it.
