Manage suggested apps

Hello everyone I have a galaxy s8+ my question is I know it used to be possible to remove downloaded apps from suggested or finder however I can't seem to find the option is settings. Can someone please help me?

Remove the apps from the phone? Settings/Apps. Choose the app, force stop, clear cache, clear data, Uninstall.

Clear it from somewhere else? From where? (Finder is the MacOS file manager, you won't find it on an Android phone.)

From the apps that pop up when you want to run a file or share it? You have no control over what shows up, that's decided by the app's developer.

From tapping the Recents button? Tap the X at the upper right corner of the app. (But that list get rebuilt as you run different apps.)

I am searching for the same answer on my Galaxy S9. It seems to poplutate SOME of the suggestions from my search history, but two of them won't budge. They aren't even apps I use a lot!
