Manage to get the 25% coupon? Congrats, Moto will honor it

Which might work for me haha. I just thought I could get it without signing a contract. I actually don't mind signing a contract THAT much, but it would be nice to have the option of upgrading tablets in a year or so if necessary. I'm hoping this thing will last me at least 2 years though.

I was going to but the contract, but after its all said and done you paying a **** ton more, for 20+fees/month charges, you end up paying way more than 799.99.

Yeah I would just really like the ability to use it anywhere, even if there is no wi-fi and I've never been able to get my Evo working to tether for free.

I guess I could add the hotspot feature for $30 a month on sprint and not worry about overages or anything...
 
I was one of the lucky ones who got a $175 cancellation fee for the $200 subsidy, so in the end it is a win for me on the dataplan. But I still possibly have the 25% reduction tablet coming. I will probably just throw it on ebay or craigslist for $800. It will save that person taxes, minus shipping.
 
So I just called and there does not seem to be a cirect number to web sales. I got tech support and they took a very long time locating web sales. I never talekd to anyone in web sales but he said that they told him it is sitting waiting for FedEx to pick it up.

I am very skeptical and if I had paid full price through this company I would be livid! Seeing as how I am getting one of these for $200 cheaper and already have one I can be patient. But it seems like a very poory run operation for their web sales.
 
I just checked Fedex.com using "Track by Reference" and keyed in the Amazon order number (including the hyphens but without the last 4 digits) and it shows that the shipment information has been sent to Fedex (as of 2.07 EST) and will be delivered by "Priority overnight" by 10.30 AM tomorrow. I paid for 1-day shipping when I ordered. Am confident that this will go through now! Note that I haven't received the tracking details from Motorola yet by email.

For others who wan't to try this method, here's what you need to do:
1. Go to Fedex.com
2. Choose Track by Reference
3. Leave "Account number" blank
4. Enter order number for "Reference number" as shown: if your order number is 123-4567890-1234567, you should enter 123-4567890-123
5. Enter today's date for ship date (pre-populated) and has +/- 30 days
6. Enter "United States" and Zip code

Some folks are getting theirs on UPS, so you may want to try there as well.

Awesome for you though. I noticed the 1 day shipping people seem to be getting them so far so maybe us 2 day order people will get them by the end of the week too.

One day shipping person here and nothing on FedEx or UPS by following the directions above.
 
You know one thing thats going to suck if we do get these, is if we have to return them, we wont be able to jus take them back to the store, like if we bought them from Verizon or BB..

Yeah I know. So I think I've made up my mind that if they can't provide me with any new information by tomorrow morning I am going to cancel my order and go to Verizon and buy one with a contract for $600.
 
Thanks to a tip on the XDA forums that said to track by reference number on the fedex site but delete the last four digits of your order number and then track i was able to see my shipment.

Sounds like some are getting info and others are not. I was not able to see any of my information.

When did you order and did you choose 1 or 2 day shipping? When does it say you will get your Xoom?

I opted for 2-day shipping and it said the "anticipated" arrival is the 1st but the "estimated" delivery date is the 3rd. It seems like motorola is still waiting for the shipment to be picked up by fedex

Were you checking your bank account during this time at all? What was that activity like?

I sound like an insane person about this whole thing, but anything helps relieve my anxiety about it.

The email response from the lady I have been email:

You order has not shipped. We are experiencing a delay in shipments due to the huge response from our customers. I expected the order to ship today, however, I don't know if it will go out today.

I've been enjoying mine for 5 days now =)

Yeah, I just don't want to end up getting double charged and have to deal with an overdrawn bank account and hassles getting the charge credited if it is still coming my way.

But like I said I will cancel the order tomorrow if I dont get an update.

I'm just ancy! I'm jealous of all of you guys that have had yours for awhile now!
