Manufacturers warranty in the US

I wrote Sony when I got my Z2 from Taiwan, but never got a reply to my question about registering the phone for warranty purposes. Does anyone have a direct link?

Does anyone have any new information on this? Prices on Amazon and eBay are below $700 for the phone ($670'ish) so I am thinking about picking one up. Some mention no warranty, but I thought I had read elsewhere on Z2 forum that US buyers could get warranty service. Just trying to clarify before plunking down a boatload for the phone.

Sony never got back to me.

Uhm there should be a international 1 year warranty. If applying for an extended warranty, it won't be possible
