I finally received my 4.1 update and March security patch for my Samsung Galaxy Fold 3. Tmobile locked.

Keep in mind, not only do carriers put their own flavors on the phone's OS, they sometimes block features as well.

I'm not saying that they did for sure, but it sounds like they did.

Why, I have no idea.

I am now on a T-Mobile Magenta plan with my Samsung unlocked Fold3 and still no update, on the January security patch. Going to connect to my work PC tomorrow with Smart switch to see if the update is available.

I know that the update has rolled out for all of T-Mobile (locked and unlocked). Your device may just be in the back of the queue and will get it eventually.

Yup I agree. I tried to see if the update was available via Smart Switch but it wasn't.
