Market issue with Photon

Just got my Photon today. All seems to be well with the phone except the Android market. I have yet to be able to get it to download. I am logged in to my gmail account. I am logged into "Talk". If I click on "My Apps" it will even show me all my old EVO apps so I know it is recognizing my account. But whenever I try and download an app it jumps very fast from "downloading" to "download failed" or something like that. Can't figure it out. I have no problem going on the web or running any other app. I have WI-FI and 4G turned off. Any ideas??

Yuppers! Your data saver is turned on. Goto into battery and data manager in settings and turn it off. Then go into manage apps and clear data and you should be good to go.

I would personally try going into Settings-->Applications----> Select Market from the list of Apps---> Clear Data.


It will ask you to accept the terms and conditions once again. Try that. Hope it helps you out.

Data saver is not turned on. That was my first thought as well. And I have tried clearing the data. Any other thoughts?

Stopped at my local Sprint store today and showed them the problem. Turned out to be some sort of software glitch. The phone would not allow me to do a factory reset either. The tech hooked it to his computer and was able to do a reset that way and all is well now.

i have the newly updated version of the Android market, I will say that it defiantly looks nice. My only issue so far is there a way to see what has been recently released under each category, and not just: top paid, top free?
