I'm wondering if Samsung forgot about us...

Still showing Android 5.1 Lollipop for the Nook variant on Samsung's site. The WiFi only models now show 6.0 Marshmallow. Didn't check the carrier models but some appear to have been updated according to these forum posts.

Yeah. I saw that. I'm not all that concerned. I'm not having any issues with Lollipop. There is a fundamental difference between the Nook and non-Nook versions software wise.

The Nook software is integrated into the OS and not just slapped on top. It's not a separate app you can uninstall.

I just installed it and the results are night and day! No more lag and everything is super snappy. I now am able to install adblock fast and browsing with the samsung browser is lightning fast. Even the battery life seems to be improved significantly.

Night and day? This tablet was speedy even with lollipop...we will see within next few weeks how marshmallow really responds overtime

The WiFi only Samsung Galaxy Tab s2 is getting Marshmallow updates - mine downloaded 6-21-16..
It's over a gigabyte.
It takes some time to sort itself out during the install.
It worked... as far as I can tell.
Haven't had time to wring out all the apps.

Got it, and so far no issues.

Only issue I had was Google Play Services not updating because it was still the lollipop version. Simple uninstall and update for that fixed. Still ended up doing factory reset after to clean up any other issues.

Man marshmallow runs sooooo much smoother on my tab s2 then my note 5

Battery life has been amazing .... note 5 not so much ... gah

I see most regions have got marshmallow for the sm-t810 (S2 9.7 32gb wifi) apart from the UK anyone know why it's being withheld?

Wow, I only got the notification for the update yesterday evening. I wonder why it took so long for it to reach my tablet? Anyway, it's updated and working fine so far.

Hmmm... I checked out Samsung's website and it only shows the 9.7" model as having Marshmallow. The 8" variants still show Lollipop. So maybe Samsung is rolling them out by model and not all at once.

I have the Tab S2 Nook, which is an 8" model.
