Marshmallow?

Just downloaded mm last night in my cricket branded phone. Loving it!

I updated the cricket branded one yesterday! I was loving it, until I realized I couldn't send MMS. I tried changing APN and followed the directions on the site nothing. Anyone has any tips that would be appreciated.

Has anyone converted their SD card to internal storage. Interested in opinions. I dont remove my card to move anything so it looks like a good move.

I don't like the idea that it can only be used in that device forever. So I went with portable storage. Also, be aware, you need to have the fast version of SD cards for it to work. There is specifications online about it. I think it may do a speed test on the card before it clobbers it, but not 100% sure.

Very dissappointed, I converted my SD card to internal storage but it will still only accept certain apps. It would seem if it was really internal storage it would accept everything like internal storage does. My brother had the same problem with his LG G3, so it is not a Alcatel issue.

I am still hoping for the Marshmallow OTA update on the Idol 3 4.7 inch dual sim internacional version... :(

Upgrade to MM basically smooth although front end not really all that different. But one "feature" is driving me crazy. I use my phone as an alarm clock and keep it plugged in all night, with the daydream feature enabled. After the update, it now notifies me (loudly) when the battery is full. I don't need that at 2 in the morning. Is there a way to turn that off? I'm on call most nights so I can't turn phone off or turn off notifications but who needs the silly "battery is full" notification??? Anyone have a solution? Thanks.

Hey this cut and paste from AC may help you.

"For Doze to kick in, your phone needs to be sitting still with the screen off, and not connected to a charger. That means no moving around and nudging the gyro or other motion sensors, no touching the screen or the buttons and no waving your hand around in front of it if you're using a phone like the*new phones from Motorola*that have motion detection on the front bezel. Set it down, and leave it alone." Search for the article "Inside Marshmallow: What is Doze, how do I use it and what does it do?"
Sorry about font, simple cut&paste.
I just picked up my Idol 3 5.5" this week, unlocked from USA and shipped to Canada. Downloaded 6.0.1. Cheers.
