Oh of course it's not as good as the dex. Just saying that Samsung had one before.Oh that's better. But didn't picked up that well compared to the new dock for the s8 and note 8

Perhaps. Maybe they didn't spend enough time tweaking it back thenDon't think the software was ready for it either
They still need to spend more time though... It is a good start but needs more workNo, you can tell Samsung spent so much more time and effort into the dex.
Haven't used it. Dunno what's lacking tbhThey still need to spend more time though... It is a good start but needs more work
There are discussions and reviews of it if you are interested. I don't want to get into it here as this thread isn't about the dexHaven't used it. Dunno what's lacking tbh

Oh that sucks. Unfortunately I don't have a mate 10 but hopefully someone who does can help youHello,
I come from France and I use since yesterday the Mate 10 Pro. It works great except the EMUI Desktop mode that I can not operate. I use this HDMI hub: https://www.youtube.com/redirect?event=comments&redir_token=vHhGahhfz4E-0k-mR5EPUh5LEst8MTUxMTcwMTY3M0AxNTExNjE1Mjcz&q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.fr%2FInateck-Aluminium-Adaptateur-Chromebook-portable%2Fdp%2FB07583JZLQbut when I connect my Mate 10 Pro to it, nothing happens on my HDMI screen, the screen is black and the smartphone does not detect that it must go into Desktop mode.
Should you do a precise manipulation on the phone or use a specific HDMI hub?
Thank you for your help because in France, no one finds the answer even HUAWEI.
Good point. Check to see if it works directlyHave you tried connecting directly to the monitor without using the hub?
