Mate 10 Pro initial thoughts

I am trying to wait a few days before I scream my battery life is worse than my Mate 9 and my Mate 9 pro were... For now I am not seeing the same battery life that I got out of either of those devices but I have not had the device a week yet.

What kind of battery life are you getting ?

Never saw phone as good as the Mate 9, probably the Mate 10 pro gonna top it easily

Ty , i hope battery life will get better for him, as i'm eyeing the Pro too .

But, tbh the Mate 9 is just so good, nothing is tempting at all, even the DAC is decent, just wish they had a great dac like in V30, so it could power up mine ATH E70 and all other equipment.

Unfortunately Huawei didn't add the double tap to wake up. Have you noticed any big battery drained from using aod and without it?

The notifications problem is indeed a Huawei thing. Not sure why they did that. Maybe with enough complaint they'll fix it

It really shouldn't drain much given that it's a manufacturer solution

AOD hardly had any effect on battery life, well worth having it on IMO

That's great to hear... That is what I expected, but good to hear from an actual user

I used to get similar results with my N6P when I first got that so I'm not exactly blown away. Plus I hadn't exactly been streaming videos all day, just general web browsing with my screen brightness around 40%.

As long as it last me a day I'm happy anyway. I'm just not sure about these claims of having phenomenal battery life.

At the end of the day, that's the important thing that it makes it to the end of the day

As long as you're satisfied with a full day usage then it's good. Battery life are different with everyone depending on their usage

That is true. It is hard to judge on anyone's specific situation as there are so many factors involved

This looks about right. You're 4hrs in and got nearly 70% left. I think the reviews were stating they got 8-10hrs sot with it depending on usage

That's definitely pretty impressive numbers! Easily should be able to do 10 hr SOT

I do, i have the Fiio K1 but it's mini USB, so i use 3 different adapter hehe.
Gonna order the only USB C native DAC soon, 70USD not cheap

Honestly, i can't wait to see what Oreo brings to the Mate 9, and how the Mate 10 A.I gonna be used outside of the camera, let us not forget that P11 launching soon.

A lot of reviews stated the Mate 10 is at least on par with the Mate 9 if not better

Even without knowing the sot. A full day and some without charging the phone is impressive to me
