MAY Security patch (Update: OTA is live!)

The key here is patience. I'm sure if you haven't gotten it that you will get it soon. If you can't wait you can always sideload, however I don't bother with sideloading unless it's a version change.

T-Mobile has nothing to do with it, they have no control over the updates on these devices.
Well, believe what you like, but there's nothing magical about Pixel phones, and there's no way that Google can override any carrier's desire to prevent a new build from openly accessing their network if they're not comfortable with it. Granted, T-Mobile rarely interferes with security updates, but that's no indication that they can't.

According to this article carriers have to approve the update

They do help with ensuring network wise it is good but that is about it. Nothing like they do for Samsung devices and others where they modify software + add their own.

Is it that noticeable? I hope so. Mine dropped 15% in seven hours overnight last night and seems to be getting worse during the day.

Yes, I noticed it right away. I noticed it dropped only 4% last night, and after taking it off the charger yesterday morning, I'm still at 35 percent this morning with heavy use.

Verizon has released the update. It's mentioned on their site. I spoke with Google b support and they just asked me to wait as it's released in batches. They said having never used a Verizon sim on a Verizon phone shouldn't matter.

On my Verizon Pixel 2 XL, I just hit the Check For Updates button a few minutes ago and it's downloading now.

I just got the May security patch about a hour ago OTA on my Verizon 2XL.

Now trying to look up what is in the update.
