Another interesting fact, airplane mode consumes the same amount of power as turning off just data. That is because while in airplane mode, your phone still searches for and contacts nearby cell towers. That means that your provider can still track you even when on airplane mode. Remember this for your next kidnapping gig. Always pull the battery

I guess that's why on the last flight that I took, they told everyone to turn off their phones completely; that it was not enough to simply put it into airplane mode. I'll remember your advice when I need to stay "off the map,"... pull the battery!

Kernel = 2.6.32.9-picasticks-07 (picasticks kernel)
Rom = Harmonia 1.6
Min/Max CPU = 480/768
Governor = interactive
Data = wifi
Data Sleep Policy = never
Voip = yes
Usage = light (some surfing, facebook checking, google voice texts, listening to a song)

Hopefully my battery life will go up to twice that when I get my new super humongous battery

I was up to 28 hours with the 8/10 backside with fairly heavy use, alot of browsing Facebook, no streaming, but I'm tinkering with my phone constantly, I recently switched to bobs and with the new smartass gov. I think I can get close to that again

if you notice I did specify that I mainly use wifi, but that I have it set to be always on, mainly because I text through GV and I've got GrooVe IP running as well for my phone calling. I set the phone in airplane mode at home simply because I get such crappy service. (If it's not in airplane mode I get service maybe 10% of the time. Partially because my room is in our basement. lol)

but for the most part it was just sitting here.

Just out of curiosity... since this thread died way back in June, and mmarz left the scene when he broke his OV and went with the MT... is anyone even collecting this data....?
