Mechano watch face for the Gear S2/S/2/Neo

Hi guys,

Long time no post on the forums... I've been busy with a pretty cool app, but that's beside the point I'll make another post later about the big app coming up. However, I wanted to show a new watch face I made. It's called Mechano, you can get it on the Gear Apps Store for 0.99USD. I've put quite a lot of work into this one: the whole face is vector drawn.

Here are the features:
- high quality vector drawings
- rotating gears (note: on the Gear S, the gears do not rotate smoothly because the Gear S is not as strong for visuals as the Gear 2 and the Gear S2...)
- Amount of notifications is shown
- Battery indicator
- 5 colors: Gold, Dark Blue, Purple, Emerald and Phosphor Blue
- You can change the face and gear colors separately (i.e. have a blue face and golden gears)

Most important, in my opinion, is the fact I'm still working on adding new colors and features to the watch.

Nice job. I'm curious, though, why so few watch faces, other than the stock Samsung ones, offer Weather as one of the complications?

We're working on offering weather now, most likely for the Gear S2 and Gear S We're also trying out pedometer to see if it's feasible.

Very nice face. I think I'll pick it up. I'm wondering the same thing about the weather complication. Also did you use the Gear Watch Maker beta to do this?

Nope, this watch face is made in the "old school" Tizen IDE lol. I'm working on making the weather the old school way as well... The next watch face I'll make I'll try to make it in the Gear Watch Maker to see what it's like.

Just a quick post to say I'm working on new colors, this one is gunmetal. There will be a bronze one coming up as well as a teal one. After that, I'm gonna make 6 new night-mode colors

Gunmetal is still in the works. We're adding weather to our watchface at the same time for the Gear S and S2, as well as bronze and teal colours, so this update is bigger and requires more testing than before. I'll keep you guys updated on what's happening!

If they have a weather complication that works (updates correctly), they'll have done what Samsung themselves can't do.

We've been hard at work, but for now the weather updates are still sporadic... It mostly has to be updated manually. Nonetheless, we'll publish this update (so you'll at least have weather) and keep working to make it automatically update
