[MEGATHREAD] "Failed to update software. Use SKT USIM card to update."

Can't update my phone because I keep getting this message, "Failed to update software. Use SKT USIM card to update."
How do I get around this or where can I get this card? I bought a Samsung Galaxy S4 Advanced (SHV-E330S) on Ebay from Korea.

OP good luck getting updates if it is the S3 phone. That thing is 8 years old at this point.

You'll need to check and see what the enterprising folks at XDA have to offer for that device. The Note 3 is a very old device (in terms of mobile devices) and has long since lost update support from Samsung, and some apps are dropping support for Lollipop (the latest official OS for that device), which I presume is why you're looking for an update.

Going with something from XDA carries risk, you're replacing a stable manufacturer developed OS with one built by enthusiasts (smart enthusiasts, but still not people that designed the device).

The Note 4 is a old device that doesn't get software updates anymore, did u just get this device? You original owner?
