How to decrypt the encrypted videos in gionee m5.???

Recently, i encrypted some videos and now i am not able to look for them, nor find a way to get them back

It was on internal storage. Apparently the images tht i deleted, i was able to get them back from trash. But there is nothing else.

Have you already tried using a file manager app to look in the /DCIM/Camera directory (if these were photos you took with the Camera app), to see if the actual photo files are still there?

Did you use a Move command for any of these files before they were lost?

Did you enter a password to encrypt them? Then use the same password to decrypt them.

I have encrypted some photos in my Gionee elife e7 using inbuilt encrypt feature. Now my phone is stolen but I have backup of my phone and I want to recover encrypted photos. Where photo is stored and how to recover it?

Unless you encrypted the photos with an app that used a password, you can't. Encryption by the phone itself depends on a few things in the phone, like its IMEI number, which is different for each phone. (Backups should be unencrypted - then you can encrypt the entire backup with a method you can use to decrypt the backup without needing the phone.)

You use the same password to decrypt it as you used to encrypt it - there's no way to get around encryption - any encryption. (Encoding, like the Enigma Machine, can be broken, encryption can't be.) And since most phone encryption depends on the phone's IMEI number as part of the key, there's no way anyone could figure out your decryption key without having your phone. (Assuming that the encryption method was so weak that someone could figure out how to crack it.)

Decrypt what? The phone should decrypt when you put in your password or PIN.

I'm assuming that on your device you are able to view the photo. If you share it to any other app or cloud storage it will appear as normal, however if you pull your SD out and attempt to view it via a card reader or by putting it into another device it will appear as an encrypted file. If you factory or hard reset your device without transferring encrypted data as regular files it will become un-recoverable.
