Can I use an external SD Card reader on my moto g? It is the prepaid Verizon edition?

I would like to transfer files to a tablet.

My friend is getting out of the big house in a couple of weeks. He has a u-tab7 from union supply, which is a locked down tablet. He said once he gets out he can't put more stuff on it.

I bet him I could do it using my phone.

Then he tells me that the tablet is locked down and he can only access it through their menu and that only allows songs etc from that company.

I am on a quest to hack that tablet. Any thoughts?

the tablet has no physical volume keys. it only has power and reset buttons. yet to scroll to factory reset it says to use volume buttons?? Please help

enable usb debugging and use adb&fastboot to boot into recovery then select factory reset.

I was at chino state prison, where I purchased a hiteker tablet for $194. with accesories. I have the receipt to prove it. I was released september 21. The tablet has a password that does not allow internet access or anything else other than access to the 500 books and 40+ games. All the apps needed are there. iam trying to unlock it. can anyone help?

So, the device was sold as having just those 500 books and 40 games on it? The manufacturer/seller has a password lock preventing it from being used for any other purpose?

Welcome to Android Central! What do you mean by access codes? Do you mean the lockscreen password? That's something you have to remember, assuming you created them.

Yes this is correct. My husband had one of these too but went on C- STATUS so had to send it home... They are garbage. No way to add anything else and no way to figure out the password that protects STORAGE, DEVELOPERS MODE, SECURITY SETTINGS and BACKUP AND RESET....

The hard reset will not work as there are no volume hardware buttons and the reset hole that you poke with a pin just turns the tablet back off. There is no way to move selector bar
.... UNLESS.... Someone can figure out what part of the circuit board controls volume and could tell me how I could activate that spot on the board....

What can I do to factory reset a Union supply u-tab 7?

My brother is in jail and sent me his tablet as a present but I can't use it for anything other than the few songs and games he had already ordered. I can't add games movies pics or songs and I can't connect to WiFi at all. Is this thing able to be anything other than the crap it is now or should I trash it? It only has the power button on its side and a couple of ports for mini USB and power plugins. Any advice?

Unlocked, replaced software The Edge mini tablet

I sent in this device to Keefe Group, had it unlocked and software installed, the only thing I have on it is Google. I can't download any apps or any play store. I tried downloading Facebook, for example and it said incomplete due to parsing problem, I went into security-device administrators and it says no device administrators. Right now it is pretty much useless except for Google. Am I doing something wrong? It has no phone. Can you PLEASE help me?? It is an android, Condor kernal, 32 GB

Welcome to Android Central! Sorry, but what's the Keefe Group? Is the name of the tablet "The Edge"? Who's the manufacturer?

If the device isn't certified for Google Play, it often isn't compatible with the Play Store or other Google apps.

How did you try downloading Facebook? Were you trying to install it as an apk installer file?

I am able to go to the settings location but once I touch the screen nothing shows up but a blank white box is there a way for me to hard reset the entire module in order for me to log into the hitker tablet settings

Play movies on U-TAB

The U-TAB Will play movies if you add a SD card reader to it. Take it apart and you'll see where the factory reader goes, add a reader and watch movies. Go to U -Docs, create jpg file, open jpg file, top left corner there will be a Super HD Player, push it and thumbnails will appear. Push thumbnails to watch whatever is on the SD card.

Ok now in order to mess in the recovery mode(what ever its call) hold reset n power botton as you turn on the tablet when you there you'll need volume buttons to go up and down if you open up your hiteker tablet and you mess with the motherboard the volume buttons are next to the HDMI plug-in, ull need to scratch the surface in order for the volume buttons to work as long as it makes contact with ground it'll shift up and down doing a factory reset does not delete the factories administrator password Instead it will only delete the password that you put also back to your recovery settings theyll be a update ADP or something well when you're there you need to learn about ROMs files I believe that's the way of getting the administrator password through there I will be trying to send a picture if I can of what to do and where to solder im currently in prison tryng to unlock this but all computers here are administrative password locked so i cant do much in here i by mehtore. If there is any one with some knowledge on how to go about this pleas help. Where the point of pen is pointing is litrly where the volume button is just scratcth surface so u can make it function as long as u make contact to another metal,copper..etc..

The "info" is that you have to learn how to defeat the encryption. That's done by playing with the 200MB of code that @S Diavante offered. (Hacking isn't done by instruction, it's done by experimentation.) But, since he hasn't posted since that one post in 2016, I doubt that he's still around. (You could try sending him a private message.)
