you get the point its all off,so is anyone else having these issues on your x or do you think it is one of my app's eating the memory? thanks for any help.

If your phone runs great whats the problem? This is not a BB or Windows phone and you do not need to keep checking your application memory. The Android OS will do a great job of closing down app's when needed to keep your phone running smooth and fast you just have to trust it. I would only start to worry if the phone it self starts to lag kinda like a BB.

yah like i said it runs great and the only reason i did notice it was when i hit atk widget to kill apps thats when i see whats free and all day long it just gets lower and lower.

yes.....where do you check the available memory?

I got so used to doing that on a blackberry....it feels like second naure.

Compared to my Blackberry Storm1...that is no big deal...memory leak on the Storm1 is like water leak on the Titanic.

I refuse to even look for the app memory. I left BB so I wouldn't have to do that again.

It will keep dropping because after you kill all the task your killing app's that the phone needs to have running in order for the phone to work properly. That is one reason I do not recommend using ATK because it will do more harm to your phone then good. It will also show app that are not running but in the background as app that are running. Try doing a search on it and read up, there is a better and free app (system panel) which will give you options to kill task and will give you a true reading of whats running on your phone.

You just have to learn to trust your OS and not check you free app memory like you may have with another phone. I came from BB and it took me a few weeks to learn that know I never check because I don't need to.

I came from a Storm1 and that's slander!...

...the Titanic took several hours before it sunk.

Yea, stop looking into it so much. This isn't a BB. There may seem like mem leaks bit the Android OS knows how to manage itself.

I personally think ATK is not needed and makes people worry too much. Have faith in Android!

Got that right!!!!! I would only boot at 9mb and be down at 00 in a few hours sometimes minutes...Phone locked, spinning clock icon...Oh cant wait for my X

why exactly does my phone need to run skype mobile, amazon mp3, ebay (self install) etc. to run correctly?

they just eat up memory and resources unnecessarily

Couldn't agree more. I always kill these apps. Its one thing to install bloatware onto my ROM, its another to FORCE it to run without my knowledge.
