Often (though not every time) when I launch the Messages app directly (i.e., by tapping the app icon or via the Messages widget; not by tapping a text message notification), it will open up to a conversation in which I do not have any recent message activity, at least not in the past day or two or three. And when this happens, it is almost always the same conversation (there is one other that occasionally opens). Is it odd for me to expect the app to open to either: A) the list of conversations, or B) the most recent text conversation I had opened? I would definitely prefer A but could live with B. However, having it open so frequently to a conversation that I do NOT need or want to interact with is frustrating and causes two extra taps to get to the list (i.e., Menu > List).
Is there any way to make this work consistently as I described?
FWIW, I also have this happen about once a week or so. Not sure if there is any correlation, but I thought I'd at least mention it.
Thanks,
ME
