messages randomly not coming through??

Occasionally, but more often lately, my Galaxy S5 on verizon has not been recieving texts from my friend with an iphone 6 on verizon. But please don't tell me to tell her to check her imessage settings or to delete messages/ her contact info then re-add it because I've already done all of these things. Any other helpful solutions? And by the way I've never owned an iphone.

I had the same issue with iPhone users about a month ago. I called Telus and they could see the messages sending but nothing incoming. They had thought it was an imessage issue but it turned out to be from iPhones from Rogers.

In my case the issue resolved itself after about 4 days.

Is your friend with Verizon as well?

Yes she is, and is there any way to resolve the issue besides factory resetting it (which I have already done)? It continues, still, after about 2 weeks now...
