Messaging no longer syncing between phone and tablet

I have a standard Note 10 and had messages and calls syncing between these two prior to upgrading to Android 10 w/One UI 2.1 on or about 5/5/20. Now they no longer sync. I have forgetten the way to sync them or is this turned off in Android 10. Any help appreciated. I tried to find this by Goggling, but can't seem to.

I have had no issues with my S6 and Note 10+ (Verizon Note & WiFi S6).

For whatever reason, it spontaneously started to sync again this am. I did check all settings and maybe that sparked it to do so.

What do you use for messaging. I use Pulse messaging on the tablet so it sends messages from my S20Ultra number.
