Messed up installing the ROM really badly. PLEASE HELP!

You must manually put the apk in system/apps Folder and adjust permissions. Not sure of permissions but you can do a search for it. Good luck.

Just flashed the gapps zip from recovery, readding my Google account now. Should be good to go, thanks!

8.5. Flash gapps zip same as rom, (don't worry about wiping data, cache, dalvik... It's just Googles apps and permissions for the rom)

Also, depending on when the gapps zip is from, sometimes I find the Market app instead of the Play store app... It will update on it's own.

I got CyanogenMod9 (http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Latest_Version/Google_Apps) and it said it was updating from the Market to Play store, so I hit ok but then it says "Server Error". Do I just wait now or is this a permanent problem? Will CM7 work? I need to get Titanium and MyBackup back ASAP.

Update: All is well, getting used to having a new ROM now. Gotta figure out what bloatware to uninstall and the customization. Anyone have theme recommendations for TS 1.6, let me know. Thanks for everyone's help!

There shouldn't be any bloat on the rom, that's sort of the point of most roms. And TS uses Go launcher, the ICS theme is pretty good.

Update: Flashed ThunderShed-v1.6_CM7.2-tbolt.zip, restoring Nandroid backup. It's been over an hour now...what should I do? Can I restart the process somehow?

Also, does anyone know what the folder in the sdcard is for Instagram? Those got deleted earlier, but I saved them and would to put them back in the gallery.

If you flashed a ROM and then you are restoring a NANDROID backup, you will be erasing your newly flashed ROM. ....this is if I am understanding you correctly.

You want to flash a ROM, use Titanium or My Backup Pro and then restore that data.

Re-download INSTAGRAM and run it......use ES File Manager or plug your phone in and use the DISK DRIVE feature and view your directory structure that way and see where there instagram folder is.

If you installed TS 1.6 it is completely DE-Bloated and you don't have to remove anything. That is what most of the custom ROMS are. In the description of the developers website/link/thread it will tell you exactly what is done to their ROM.

You have to think of Thundershed as a ASOP rom...which is basically a plain ol' VANILLA Generic (albeit for the Thunderbolt), Android ROM. The SENSE ROMS are more like the stock ROMS without the blaotware.
