Ok, Last issue...promise

When in the stock messenger app, clicking on a conversation, there is a half second delay before the conversation opens. Is this normal? I don't know if this was there in the beginning but it does it now. Please help, thanks.

I get a short delay as well. Seemingly also with conversations with only a few messages, not just big ones.

Not your question, I know. But I just installed Textra. Wow, that is much faster to open the same conversations, especially big ones.

I have it also on my G4. It was exactly the same way on my previous G3. It's normal, but I don't know what causes it. I switched to Textra because it drove me crazy back when I had my G3. I haven't looked back, I've been using it ever since.

Textra is awesome, and it's lighting fast.

I'm using the Verizon Messaging app because I like that it backs up my messages and I can connect to them from a computer. However, it still take a half second to load the app.
