Messenger slideshow, anyway to change?

whenever I send or receive pics they are in the slideshow, I have tried Handcent and they still come through this way. Is there any way to get the to just come through as. jpeg or something?

The stock message app will change any MMS with more than 1 picture into slide show. So 1 pic is okay, 2 or more pic = slide show, 1 pic 1 txt = slide show. Go SMS Pro works better. I don't know about Handcent, never used it.
