Mic Issues

My wife and I both bought Galaxy S7s recently. For both of us, we get constant complaints from people that they can't hear us very well when talking on the phone. I practically have to yell for people to hear me clearly without complaint. This occurs both with and without the cases that we bought for the phones. Any ideas?

People have reported that the power and volume buttons stop working on their Galaxy S7. Maybe that's the issue here, they get sutck on a very low setting without you even knowing about it?

A simple reset usually solves it. Hold down the power and home buttons together to reset it. Once your phone restarts, the power and volume buttons should be responsive again.
If not other people speculate that the volume problems might be because the phone(speakers, mic, ettc.) is water resistant, but I don't know...
