Micro SD adapter (small black) STUCK... PLEASE HELP!

Friend was trying to use a paperclip end to open micro SD tray. It came out, & it was obvious that the "SanDisk 64 GB microSDXC UHS-I card with adapter" that I purchased at a Best Buy store was too big for the adapter and tray on my Samsung Galaxy 9.7 tab S2 (wifi) unit. Employee at Best Buy who seemed knowledgable about this tablet told me how to factory reset it, got the tool to open the micro SD tray & showed me how to eject the adapter, & put it back in. He took me to the products that he said would work w/ this tablet (because I asked about backing up pictures on a SIM card, & I picked the card I referenced above. He never told me that it was the wrong size! Friend did the factory reset for me, then successfully opened the tray for the microSD, when he saw that the card I bought was too large, he put the adapter back in the slot, & it may be in wrong, won't come out. Now What?
