Kind weird. I went online to check my status after reading the last few posts and it shows as "Paid". It also shows it has been shipped, but no shipping info other than that. I didn't get any emails regarding approval/shipping (email address is correct) but I guess I'll have my stuff soon.

You will probably get the shipping email tomorrow. That's what mine did.

Yep, I had an email this morning - mine was shipped via USPS.

Submitted for both TMobile and LG promos on the night of June 6th
T-Mobile offer sent me an email on the 17th saying they didn't see the IMEI number on my receipt so they wanted a pic of the box in an email reply before they could approve.
Yesterday on the 18th the Battery and SD card submission was approved, didn't need to send another pic, and the tracking number says I'm to expect deliver on the 22nd. Not bad.

Grateful for the extra battery and charging cradle more than any SD card (I have so many). Thank you LG.

Is it a good idea just to swap batteries instead of charging through the phone. It's much faster for us to swap them out instead of waiting. Thoughts?

It's much easier and faster to swap the battery. The free gear from LG will be here tomorrow but I picked up an extra set, so I know I'll always be covered. The kit that LG send has a charger but only comes with a USB cable to charge - no ac adapter is included. Too bad the battery doesn't have a plastic carrying case for it but hey - can't gripe about free stuff!

It's much easier and faster to swap the battery. The free gear from LG will be here tomorrow but I picked up an extra set, so I know I'll always be covered. The kit that LG send has a charger but only comes with a USB cable to charge - no ac adapter is included. Too bad the battery doesn't have a plastic carrying case for it but hey - can't gripe about free stuff!

I just got mine yesterday and it doesn't have USB cable. Just the battery in a plastic bag, charger in a plastic bag, and SD card in a case. It came in USPS postal service first class mail envelope. Got the shipping notice the day before and got it the next day because they shipped out about 30 miles from me. I will probably try to sell them since I really don't need extra battery.

Once you get use to swapping to a full battery, you'll love it. My phone is never on the charger.

After disabling some apps on the G4, the battery is actually much better than my previous phone Note 2. I only have to charge it once every 2 days or so. And I always carry a 5000mAh external battery pack with built in micro usb cable, so I never ran out of battery. And my case is kind of hard to take off. I am afraid I will drop the phone if I have to ply off the case every day or so to switch battery.

I do love the removable battery though. It helps to do a quick reset on the phone. A few times I had to do that to my Note 2 and it is stalled and the buttons were not responsive. I had to do that my wife's iPhone too but without removable battery, I had to plug it in to a computer with iTunes and do some kind of safe mode reboot. It is nice to be able to just cut off the power and reboot it.

Actually the battery charger is the case. Its like a battery coffin. You can just put it in your pocket like that. Pretty cool stuff.
