I noticed that the screen seems a bit too bright in a pitch black room even on minimum brightness. Anyone else notice this?

I know the 150 update adjusted the auto brightness, and it suits seen that the minimum is brighter than it used to be.

I would also since it's a LCD type screen it's going to be a lil brighter than AMOLED screen in pitch blackness.

It's possible that you're colour warmth setting doesn't suit your eyesight. I had to change mine to a more red setting.

One other thing I've noticed is autobrightness doesn't seem to drop all the way to the lowest point on the slider as much as it used to. If there is any light, and I mean any (I use a 3 watt LED in my bedroom) it will not go to minimum brightness.

I'm thinking my phone is defective.
So far in my case auto-brightness has never worked the way I think it should.

I'm somewhat disappointed the workaround is just to keep it off.
Tough to manage battery time effectively stuck in the manual settings.
