Missed calls from uknown numbers not apearing in the log

Hi,
Recently I've been getting calls from withheld numbers, as I'm sure everyone agrees withheld numbers are always annoying but my problem is, other than the initial missed call display my phone is not logging that i missed calls from a withheld numbers. Is there any way to change this, i would like the withheld numbers to appear in recent calls as missed call, as regular missed calls do.
