Missing calls & texts

My wife has an unlocked X running 5.1 on AT&T. She seems to have a regular problem with calls and texts not coming through. When she reboots the phone suddenly there's a voicemail and texts. Interestingly the call does not show up in recent calls.

Any ideas? She uses the phone for business so this is a big deal.

Edit: cell standby is also high, it was 27% when she noticed it and rebooted just now, to find a missed call and text...

Hello! I would first try clearing the cache partition and if this doesn't work, then try a factory data reset. Good luck!

Did the cache partition wipe last night (for the first time) so hopefully that works. This bug seems to have been introduced by the Lollipop update.
