Question Missing Google shortcut on bookmarks bar

I used to have a very useful shortcut straight to Google on my bookmarks bar, which saved me having to have to close a page down in google and then open a blank page - instead I could just click the icon on the bookmarks bar, which closed the current page, and replaced it with a fresh one. Thus saving a small amount of time. It has been there so long that I have no idea how it got there! However, that useful option has now vanished from all the computers that I use, whether windows 10 or 11. Can anyone tell me how I can get this useful function back? It seem such a small thing, but its loss gets more annoying as time goes by!
