Missing out on HUGE opportunity

LG is missing a HUGE opportunity to gain within the premium market by not releasing the V20 immediately. The Samsung Note 7 fiasco is the best thing to happen to LG. When opportunity knocks, especially in this industry, you're dead if you don't take immediate advantage.

I'd rather them take some time and get it right. Some say Samsung rushed to release the Note 7 due to the iPhone 7 and that that didn't work out so well for them.

Maybe it was a last min decision to support more carrier so they needed time for that

My guess as others mentioned is wanting to get Nougat firmware right and using demo unit review feedback for pre release updates.

Still, they should have waited. No excuse doing a press launch nearly two months prior to release.
