Its crazy man, cm7 just got gingerbread kernel hijacked, I guess I'm the last to know. Well if its gonna take a week I just might FINALLY give Cm7 a try now.
Edit: Never mind that rom is still in development... :-(

Everything is installed and running well but my music player will not play any of my music that I ripped from a cd onto my sd card. Says that file type isn't supported or whatever. Any help would be great. Thanks

Yup that's one of my bummers too about the Rom, it only supports Mp3 files no matter which player you use it seems, crossing my fingers for a fix,

Im in NYC in a cab right now showin the cabbie how MIUI beats his stock GB droid lol. My girl is sittin next to me cuz were on our way to The View restaurant atop the Marriot on broadway to celebrate 4yrs together. Its also the place Im gona get down on one knee and propose. Whew here we go.

Quick question: After doing a ton of reading about miui I see a lot of folks running version 1.8.19. I am running 1.8.5.I see no option for upgrade. Am I on the latest build for the Droid X? It would make sense from a numerical stand point...Thanks again everyone.

You need to flash the Droid x 2nd Int recovery in Rom manager.

I did that already. Maybe I can't get to 1.8.19 from 1.8.5? After you suggested the rom manager flash I started to search around in there. I was able to download .19 after clicking "download ROM". Hopefully this gets me up to date...

yep.. rom manager will allow you to download it.. from there you flash into recovery and "install zip file" look for the miui .19 file and away you go!
