Not seeing that file on my SD anywhere. Did a search too. Found the backup filles in my /MIUI folder so I deleted everything I could, un-installed the app now gona re-install and see if that helps.

That just means you didn't set at boot. reloading the app might just work.

Well re-installed, OC'd, saved as profile, set at boot, saved profile. Waited a bit, rebooted normally and it is back to unknown vsel 1000max/300min in QCA and About Phone shows 1.0ghz. Very odd. Oh and still no folders or files anywhere on the SD pointing to QCA. Maybe it is the ROM somehow.

If you load the widget it might help or make it easier to apply the under/overclock.

Odd, my post disappeared. Well the widget idea didnt work either, things are still going back to stock figures in about phone and the app/widget. I emailed the dev, see what happens with that. Thnaks for tryin though.

One last thought, if this app requires root access you might wanna check the superuser permissions.

No root issues, it is allowed and granted when run.

make sure you check the remember box when you grant it permission. I had the same problem too. After a boot it would try to load, but wasnt automatically allowed root so it failed to load the settings. Only when I launched the app and gave it the OK would it load them, and check the remember box fixed this.

1.9.16 is great. No issues whatsoever. I didn't download the first 1.9.16 with the reported issues, I got the updated file.

VLC Open-Source Media Player For Android [Download]

Another user, Antob125 in the CM7 thread posted this. Check Cvpcs' blog for the real deal. I used Root Explorer to find the folders. It does work on my X(it is a NEON). Finally a real VLC media player like I have on my pc. Scans for media files as well. Its a beta so it might be buggy for someone else.

Worked perfect! BUT....I decided to create a new folder on the sd card called "boot animations". I then saved the red dragon file as "reddragon.zip" When I copy and paste into system/media the boot animation doesn't work.

It only works when I keep the file name at its default.

Any idea why? I would love to organize these suckers!

anyone else find the video quality of the camera app to be subpar? The videos off of the stock rom were never amazing, but they were better than this. Also, they are only 720x480 unlike the 1280x720 that is with the stock rom.

Yea that's one of the bummers of 2nd int roms with the DROID X, you can only get 450p vs. 720p. If you want the full camera experience with the DROID X you'll need a rom that supports most of the Blur that accompanys the camera app.

Do we have to be on .602 to flash the latest version of miui? Every time I flash the TBH All-In-One I get stuck on the red eye.

For those curious, MIUI 1.9.16 with JakeBites Mod on the latest Superuser 3.0 + v6 supercharger on 1000 setting works fantastic! For example, after 10 hours of very little use I am on 80% battery life (while underclocked). I highly recommend that everyone try it out. Also, as a disclaimer underclocking may not work with your phone. URL provided below:

nevermind, I wasnt flashing it thru the right process. Got it in CWR and it went thru without a hitch.
